In the episode, the 'Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon' host takes the stage to belt out Michael McDonald's 'I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Near)' with a comically forced rasp.

AceShowbiz - Jimmy Fallon crashed "The Voice" to pull a prank on coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper. In the Tuesday, March 7 episode, the late night talk show host appeared for a blind audition and he got a shockingly pleasant result.

That night, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" host took the stage to belt out Michael McDonald's "I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Near)" with a comically forced rasp. Kelly, Chance and Niall could be seen exchanging confused looks throughout the performance. Meanwhile, Blake looked skeptic.

Kelly and Niall were the first coaches to hit the button for Jimmy and quickly laughed out loud when they found out who was the one singing on the stage. Chance followed suit and let out a scream in shock over the revelation.

As Blake was the only coach who didn't turn for Jimmy, the comedian walked toward the country singer who was shocked to see Jimmy. The "Saturday Night Live" alum then pressed Blake's button for him, prompting Blake to jokingly scold him, "You can't do that! You know the rules."

"I'm across the parking lot doing our show 'That's My Jam'," Jimmy explained. Jimmy then congratulated Blake in 23 seasons with the show and gave him a big hug. "I had to come over and say 'hey,' buddy.' Twenty-three seasons, congratulations," he said.

Jimmy later shared that he wanted to be on Team Kelly. "I'm on Kelly's team!" he claimed, "Thank you for turning around."

"It didn't take me long to figure out that it was Jimmy Fallon. And there was no way I was gonna hit my button, he does not deserve the chair turn on this show. Jimmy's impersonation is the equivalent of walking up to Michael McDonald and slapping him in the face as hard as you can," Blake said while Jimmy walked away singing.

"[We'll] call it Different Directions," Blake quipped, referencing Nial's former band One Direction. "Take it, and run off the show."
