Sofronio Vasquez made history as the champion, following two compelling performances that showcased his talent and determination. He is the first Filipino singer and the second Asian contestant to win the competition since Season 5's Tessanne Chin.
Michael Buble, Vasquez's coach, celebrated the significance of his victory, saying it represented hope for the Filipino and Asian communities. Bublé also became the first coach to have his winner and runner-up on their debut season.
While the season's end marked the departure of Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani and Snoop Dogg, the rapper hinted at a potential return. Before leaving the show, Snoop Dogg confirmed his desire to come back, stating, "I do know it feels like I could come back and do it again."
The audience erupted in cheers, and host Carson Daly promised to hold Snoop Dogg to his word. The rapper had previously stated that he planned to leave after one season, but his connections with McEntire, Stefani, and Buble, as well as the artists, led him to reconsider.
During the Blind Auditions, Snoop Dogg hinted at a possible repeat performance, encouraging an artist to keep working and return so he could support her. Only time will tell if there will indeed be a next time for the popular coach.
The season finale also saw Shye (Buble), Sydney Sterlace (Stefani), Danny Joseph (McEntire), and Jeremy Beloate (Snoop Dogg) finish in second, third, fourth, and fifth place, respectively.
With season 26 now concluded, fans can anticipate the return of Adam Levine on February 3, 2025.
