Shireen Baratheon's death is just too painful to watch. The little princess, who was the only surviving child of Stannis and Selyse Baratheon, died because of his father's greed of power.
After being convinced by Melisandre, Stannis ordered his soldiers to burn his own daughter alive as she was being sacrificed to the Lord of Light. Dragged and tied forcefully by Baratheon soldiers, Shireen was burned alive in front of her parents who initially showed no sign of mercy despite her scream for help. However, Selyse later attempted to help her daughter only to get held back by soldiers, while Stannis was seen looking away with tears in his eyes.
