Joffrey's death was another demise to celebrate. In the second episode of season 4, the King was murdered at his own wedding feast to his new queen, Margaery Tyrell, right before his mother Cersei's eyes and everyone else.
Joffrey died after drinking a wine, which had been poisoned by Olenna Tyrell and Littlefinger, from Tyrion. His death scene, known as The Purple Wedding, featured his face turning bloodstained purple while his discolored eyes stared creepily into the camera. Carsei, on the other hand, screamed in agony upon her son's death.
