Heartbreakingly brutal is probably the most appropriate term to describe Shae's (Sibel Kekilli) death. Although it's not bloody, being killed by your loved one or having to kill your loved one is painful enough.
Shae met her demise in episode 10 of season 4. Titled "The Children", the episode saw Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) strangling her to death on the bed after he discovered that she slept with his father Tywin. Although Kekilli said that she and Dinklage didn't rehearse the emotional scene, fans could see how much Tyrion was struggling because he still loved Shae despite her epic betrayal.
