The 'Ad Astra' star's six kids, whom he shares with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, reportedly have no plans to hang out with their father on the big day and opt to spend the day with their mother instead.

AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt won't feel the warmth of a family reunion this coming weekend. Rumor has it that the Hollywood star will likely spend this year's Father's Day, which happens to be on Sunday, June 16, alone without his kids.

According to In Touch, the actor's six children, whom he shares with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, have no plans to hang out with their father on the big day amid their strained relationship. They allegedly decide to spend the day with their mother, who they feel raised them.

"The judge granted Brad and Angelina 50/50 on custody. The other side has a history of trying to revise history," a source reportedly familiar with the exes' custody battle tells the news outlet. "It is standard practice and strongly recommended by child therapists that minor children should not personally testify in a custodial hearing. All of the children's voices and perspectives were included based on lengthy discussions with evaluators and therapists in order to create the most comfortable environment for them to speak freely."

Brad's estrangement from his children has been recently highlighted by his daughter Shiloh's request for name change. She submitted a petition to the Los Angeles court to have her father's last name removed from her surname as soon as she turned 18 in May.

"Brad was blindsided by Shiloh dropping his last name, but he wasn't surprised," a source told In Touch. "He feels that Angie has slowly but surely turned their kids against him. She absolutely influenced their decisions to distance themselves from their dad."

One insider told PEOPLE that the "Bullet Train" star was "upset" after learning about Shiloh's decision. "He's aware and upset that Shiloh dropped his last name. He's never felt more joy than when she was born. He always wanted a daughter," the source claimed. "The reminders that he's lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. It's very sad."

Similarly, a source told Us Weekly that Brad "was devastated by this choice." The source explained, "To him, it was more than a change of name - it was a symbol of a deeper estrangement that has been brewing for years."

While "Brad doesn't have much of a relationship with his kids," another insider added, "He's not ready to give up on them, but knowing they are dropping his name is upsetting." Another informant dished, "Brad's putting on a brave face, but behind closed doors, he's finding it extremely difficult to come to terms with [what's happening]."

Besides Shiloh, Brad and Angelina have sons Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, daughter Zahara, 19, as well as twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.
