Less than two weeks after launching his latest single, 'The Real Slim Shady' rapper belts out the first track off his new album 'The Death of Slim Shady' in Detroit.

AceShowbiz - Eminem has delivered his latest single live for the first time since its release. Less than two weeks after launching "Houdini", "The Real Slim Shady" rapper belted out the track in front of a packed audience.

On Thursday night, June 6, the 51-year-old hip-hop artist took the stage at the "Live From Detroit: The Concert at Michigan Central" show. He surprised many concertgoers by choosing to perform "Houdini".

While approaching the center of the stage, Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, rapped, "Well, look what the stork brung/ (What?) Little baby devil with the forked tongue/ And it's stickin' out, yeah, like a sore thumb/ (Bleah) With a forehead that it grew horns from/ Still a white jerk/ Pullin' up in a Chrysler to the cypher with the vic's, percs and a Bud Light shirt."

The spitter went on to spit, "Lyrical technician, an electrician y'all light work/ And I don't gotta play pretend, it's you I make believe/ And you know I'm here to stay 'cause me/ If I was to ever take a leave, It would be aspirin to break a feve/ If I was to ask for Megan Thee Stallion if she would collab with me/ Would I really have a shot at a feat? (Ha!)/ I don't know, but I'm glad to be back."

Following the performance, Eminem told the crowd to "make some noise" for Jelly Roll. The country star joined Eminem on the stage for a duet performance of "Sing For the Moment", which the latter dropped back in 2002.

After entertaining his fans in Detroit at the event, Eminem was showered with praise. One in particular gushed, "No one in Detroit knew this was going to be like this..we are stunned here! It was beautiful." Another chimed in, "The GOAT. That Houdini opening was insane. He's back." A third exclaimed, "Em always sounds the same,be it studio, stadium, outside or inside. The OG never disappoints, long live Em."
