The couple, who got engaged in February after dating for more than five years, celebrated their wedding in May.
Scott's video, titled "Get ready with me for date night," began with her applying makeup while reflecting on her whirlwind journey. She admitted, "It's actually crazy that it's already almost been a month since I got married. It feels like life is finally starting to slow down a little bit."
Just a week after their nuptials, Scott and McClintock went on a spontaneous honeymoon, a detail she disclosed in the same video. This surprise getaway was a welcome retreat for the couple, marking the beginning of their life together as husband and wife.
Scott, who hosts the podcast "Just a Little Shady," teased that she plans to reveal more about her wedding and married life in the upcoming season of her show, set to premiere in August. One significant change she mentioned was getting accustomed to using the word "husband." She mused, "Part of me is like, 'Am I old enough to be having and saying the word husband?' " She added that the term makes her feel "older" and "mature."
The influencer also touched upon the emotional transition post-wedding, describing a period of panic and what she coined "post-wedding blues." Scott elaborated, "There's definitely this period after your wedding where a little bit of panic sets in. It's almost like post-wedding blues."
In coping with this new phase, Scott shared that she's been channeling her energy into helping friends with home decor, as she feels a void that used to be filled with wedding planning. She expressed, "There's a... moment that you're just like, 'Wow, this is all just really gone?' When you just put so much time into planning everything."
Ending her video on a positive note, Scott mentioned she was off to celebrate nearly a month of marriage with McClintock, continuing their journey of love and partnership.
