The Grammy winner gets emotional at her latest 'Eras Tour' show, which takes place after Joe broke his silence on their breakup through an interview with The Sunday Times Style.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift couldn't help but get emotional during her last Liverpool show. When taking the stage at Anfield stadium, the "All Too Well" hitmaker choked up after being overwhelmed by the crowd's reaction.

"It is genuinely such an honor to play for a crowd like this," the 34-year-old said after getting a lengthy applause from the audience on Saturday night, June 15 following the "Champagne Problems" performance. "That fact that you would do that for us - I love you so much, Liverpool. Thank you."

The Saturday concert arrived after Taylor's ex, Joe Alwyn, broke his silence on their breakup through an interview with The Sunday Times Style. During the sit-down, the English actor described his time with the Grammy winner as "long, loving" and "fully committed," reflecting on the difficulties that come with ending such a significant relationship.

Joe acknowledged that navigating the end of their romance was "a hard thing to navigate." He added, "I would hope that anyone and everyone can empathize and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years."

The split, publicly confirmed around the same time Taylor kicked off her "Eras Tour", was said to be due to "differences in their personalities" that became "harder to ignore." He discussed how the intensely private nature of their relationship clashed with the public's interest, stating, "What is unusual and abnormal in this situation is that, one week later, it's suddenly in the public domain and the outside world is able to weigh in."

The "Conversations with Friends" star expressed how real experiences quickly become distorted when exposed to tabloids, social media and the press. "And the truth is, to that last point, there is always going to be a gap between what is known and what is said," he explained. "I have made my peace with that."
