The "Young and Beautiful" singer kept her fans updated through an Instagram story, explaining that wind warnings were responsible for the postponement. "They are holding the show off until 9:00 because of wind warnings," she wrote, adding, "See you soon."
In another video, Lana offered further insight into the situation, "They just cleared the stage. So every time the lightning strikes, we have to wait 20 minutes. And it just keeps striking. So what we were hoping for was to fill the room back up by 10 o'clock and at least do an hour-long show. That's what we're hoping for bare minimum."
Concerned about disappointing her fans, Lana added that the worst-case scenario would involve rescheduling the concert for Saturday. "I don't know, I'm crossing my fingers. And I'm down here with all the girls, just hoping," she shared.
Despite the weather challenges, Lana Del Rey eventually graced the stage around 10:30 p.m. She delivered a nearly hour-long performance that defied the storm's disruptions, making the wait worthwhile for her resilient fans. The evening was made even more special with appearances from guests Mason Ramsey, Stephen Sanchez, and Quavo. The latter joined Lana for their recent collaboration, "Tough," a track unveiled on social media just a day before the concert.
"Tough" is the first song announced from Lana's highly anticipated country album, "Lasso," which is set to release in September. The album has already sparked excitement among her fans, promising a fresh dive into a new genre.
