In a new episode of 'The Bachelor' spin-off, leading man Gerry Turner kicks things off with a fun tennis game with the remaining ladies ahead of Hometown Dates next week.

AceShowbiz - Gerry Turner's journey to find love on "The Golden Bachelor" has reached the halfway point. In the Thursday, October 19 episode of "The Bachelor" spin-off, the leading man kicked things off with a fun tennis game with the remaining ladies ahead of Hometown Dates next week.

The episode featured "The Bachelorette" alum Trista Sutter, who invited Ellen, Sandra, Susan, Nancy, April, Teresa, Kathy and Faith to a group date. The ladies participated in a pickle ball tournament with the winner getting a chance to be featured alongside Gerry in In Pickleball magazine.

Joey Graziadei, who was recently named as the next Bachelor in season 28, also made an appearance to help the ladies. During the practice, April fell, though she insisted that she was "totally fine" as she winked at the camera.

Meanwhile, Gerry found out that Sandra was forced to skip her daughter's wedding day to be on the show. Gerry was impressed by her commitment and asked if he could FaceTime her daughter on the special day. While it was brief, Gerry wished the bride well during the call. Eventually, Kathy and Ellen were named as the winners.

Prior to the photo shoot, all the women enjoyed a cocktail party with Gerry. Things went south between Teresa and Kathy with the former pulling the latter aside to talk. Kathy told her that she thought Teresa didn't know how to shut up.

Seemingly proofing Kathy's point, Teresa told Gerry about their conversation. Teresa said that she meant no ill will, but Gerry found Kathy's action disrespectful. He came to Kathy for a conversation and reminded her that he gave her a special treatment after she fought with Teresa.

Moving on from the drama, Gerry headed to have a one-on-one date with Leslie. They took ATVs to get to the place where they would enjoy a scenic picnic. Gerry noticed that Leslie didn't seem comfortable with riding the ATV on her own. They later left the second ATV so Leslie could hop on on the back of Gerry's.

The two got candid with each other during the picnic. Leslie talked about how her two divorces made her think that she ever had a true partnership. They later took a dip in the hot tub. At the end of the date, Gerry presented Leslie a rose.

Meanwhile, Sandra had to skip the cocktail party because she felt unwell. Nancy sported a brace on her foot because she had a stress fracture from the pickle ball game earlier. As for Gerry, he had bonding moments with Susan and Ellen. He even gave Susan a rose quartz, saying that her empathy and strength reminded him of his late wife, Toni.

Prior to the Rose Ceremony, Nancy approached Gerry to tell him that she felt their connection wasn't as strong as his with the others. Gerry agreed and they both thought it was the best for Nancy to go home.

Following Nancy's exit, Gerry gave roses to Ellen, Faith, Susan and Teresa. Sandra and Leslie already had roses, so it meant that Kathy and April were in jeopardy. Gerry decided to keep April as he sent Kathy home.
