During a dinner with Gerry and her mother Kris Jenner, Kendall noticed Theresa Nist's contact information saved, indicating she would be Gerry's eventual choice in the season finale.
Initially aired as a teaser for an upcoming episode of "The Kardashians", Gerry later disclosed to TMZ that Kendall and Kris had stumbled upon this spoiler while trying to call his daughter Angie. Despite the potential shock, Gerry expressed gratitude that Kendall and Kris had kept the secret until the finale aired last November.
According to Gerry, the trio had a pleasant evening, ending the night watching an episode of "The Golden Bachelor" in Kris's home theater. Following Gerry and Theresa's engagement in Costa Rica, their marriage lasted only three months before they announced their divorce in April 2024.
Gerry and Theresa initially planned to reside in South Carolina or New Jersey but ultimately decided to separate due to differences in their living situations. Gerry, residing in Indiana, and Theresa, working in New Jersey, struggled to find a compromise.
