AceShowbiz - Sofia Vergara seemingly fell head over heels in love with Justin Saliman. Just two months after her divorce from Joe Manganiello was finalized, it was unveiled that the "Modern Family" alum is already talking about the possibility of marrying her new boyfriend, a practicing orthopedic surgeon at the famed Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
A source told Life & Style that the 51-year-old wasn't expecting to find love again, but "she is so happy that she did." A second source added, "Sofia didn't think she'd meet someone so perfect for her - Justin checks off all the things she wants in a partner."
"He's handsome, independent, smart, makes Sofía feel safe, and he's not an actor," the latter further explained. "It's no wonder why she wants to marry him!"
Sofia and Justin, who studied sports medicine at Stanford and earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, sparked dating speculations after hanging out in Beverly Hills, California on October 20, 2023. Since then, they have continued making public appearances together. The "America's Got Talent" judge confirmed their romantic relationship in April.
At the time, Sofia posted a picture of her resting on her bed with her leg wrapped while Justin smiled beside her, his hand resting on her knee. The actress portraying Griselda Blanco on "Griselda" captioned the photo, "If u ever get a [major] knee surgery make sure u Get a handsome doctor who will sleep with u that night!!!! Notably, Justin is the inventor of the NovoStitch Pro Meniscal Repair System, which was acquired by Smith & Nephew for $105 million in 2019. He is considered a leading expert in knee surgery, particularly in repairing meniscus tears.
