Following reports that the 'Atlas' actress and the 'Argo' actor quietly put their Beverly Hills mansion on the market, a source sheds light on their decision to list the property.

AceShowbiz - The reasons behind Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's decision to sell their $61 million mansion have been revealed. The "On the Floor" hitmaker and the Oscar winner have quietly put their marital home on the market amid their split rumors, but they were reportedly never happy with the house that they purchased last year.
"Ben never liked the house. It's too far away from his kids," a source close to J.Lo tells PEOPLE of the reason why. As for the singer/actress, "the house is way too big for her," says the source.
Photos of Jennifer and Ben's Beverly Hills home were uploaded to real estate site Zillow.com last week, though the house is still listed as sold. According to sources, realtor Santiago Arana has been showing the house for weeks, yet it remains unsold. They are reportedly asking for "around $65 million" for the 43,000-square-foot estate.
Ben reportedly has been living in a rental home a few miles away from the Beverly Hills mansion while filming his new movie "The Accountant 2". Meanwhile, J.Lo has been spotted touring houses and shopping around for her own home.
"Ben is sad about it all but focused on his work, being a great dad, and co-parenting well with Jennifer Garner," a source recently told ET. "He has been leaning on Matt Damon and his close circle of guy friends. Matt is always in Ben's corner and is supportive of him."
Despite their marital woes, "they're still friendly and see each other every few days," a source told PEOPLE on June 10. They also still wore their wedding rings during recent outings.
On Monday, "E! News" co-host Justin Sylvester claimed to have caught a glimpse of the Hollywood couple "at dinner two weeks ago." He said on "Today with Hoda & Jenna", "They looked like they still are enjoying one another. They looked like they were happy at a restaurant. They were chilling. He was his normal broody self. She was talking his ear off. Like, they looked like they were in good form."
