AceShowbiz - DC Universe's "Stargirl" has found its final four for its cast. The upcoming live-action series has rounded out its core cast by tapping four actors to star in series regular roles. Among them are Amy Smart, Neil Jackson, Hunter Sansone and Trae Romano.

Smart is set to take on the role of Barbara Whitmore, the mother of Courtney Whitmore a.k.a. Stargirl (Brec Bassinger). She is the wife of Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson). With her daughter in high school, Barbara is diving back into the workforce but striving to balance workplace demands with the commitments of both matrimony and motherhood.

Meanwhile, Romano ("Robbie") will play Mike Dugan, the overly charming offspring of Pat (Wilson) and the unctuous new step-relative to household newcomers Barbara and Courtney Whitmore. As for Jackson's and Sansone's roles, producers of the series have yet to share the details of their characters.

Jackson is currently filming "Kingsman: The Great Game" before he's heading to the sophomore season of Amazon's "Absentia" this May. Sansone, on the other hand, is set to appear in upcoming thriller "Unfollow".

The four newly-added cast members join previously-announced stars including Joel McHale ("Community") as Sylvester Pemberton a.k.a. Starman, Henry Thomas ("The Haunting of Hill House") as Dr. Mid-Nite, Lou Ferrigno Jr. ("S.W.A.T.") as Rex Tyler a.k.a. Hourman, and Meg DeLacy ("The Fosters") as Cindy Burman. Meanwhile, Angelika Washington ("Shameless"), Yvette Moreal ("The Fosters"), Christopher James Baker ("True Detective"), Jake Austin Walker ("Rectify") and Luke Wilson ("Old School") are set to appear in undisclosed roles.

"Stargirl" follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series.

DC Universe has yet to announce the premiere date for "Stargirl".
