Kath, Kim and Phil are having a quiet morning when all of a sudden they hear a crash. Phil rushes outside to see that Craig has smashed into his prized possession, his car, "Little Debbie." Craig feels terrible and cites that his father was right; he gets too easily distracted while driving. Craig admits that he has no insurance.
Phil takes Craig's advice and goes to his mechanic friend he's known since high school. Phil is surprised at the low cost of the repairs. As he and Craig are about to leave, the police swoop in and bust the repair shop for being an illegal chop shop and now Phil's car has been seized as evidence for the City. Phil is depressed to be separated from his car.
Kim is auditioning to be the anchorwoman at her local news station when a position opens up. Kath believes Kim would be perfect for the job, so Craig films her audition tape as Kath gives her pointers. Kath ends up taking over the entire audition tape.
The audition is interrupted when breaking news shows up on the TV. Little Debbie is involved in a high-speed chase that ends with the car being totaled. Kath, Kim, Phil and Craig rush to the scene of the accident to survey the damage. Craig takes the camera and Kath uses the scene to put in her audition tape.
Craig goes to the sandwich shop to console Phil about his car. Phil starts to feel flattered that Craig considers him a close enough friend to call him "bro." Craig says he's always considered Phil a good friend and will always consider him a "bro" over a "bra".
Kim finds out that she didn't get the job and Kath is devastated for her. Kim gets down on herself and says she knew she would never get the job, but then her attitude quickly shifts to blaming Craig and his bad camerawork. Kath agrees. Kim knows that her big call will be coming soon.
Phil pulls up to the house in his new car, a small compact Smart car. Kath loves it and so does Craig. Phil says it was time to move on from driving red flashy sports cars because those give off the wrong message. He takes Kath on a cruise and tells Craig to not wait up.
