AceShowbiz - JustWatch TV, the new streaming service from the JustWatch Group, launched on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in the United States and nine other markets: Canada, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Australia and New Zealand. France will follow later this month.

The service is available directly inside the JustWatch app, website and TV apps. It offers curated, free movies and TV shows, a TVOD rental store and an ad-free subscription tier.

From launch, viewers can stream Aftersun (2022), Sing Sing (2024) and Captain Fantastic (2016) for free, plus hundreds more titles.

Launch partners include Paramount, Bleecker Street, Cineverse and many others, with more joining in the coming months.

The launch marks the JustWatch Group's expansion from a streaming guide into a full streaming service. The company said the new service combines human curation and editorial recommendations with data-driven discovery drawn from its audience demand insights.
"The launch of JustWatch TV marks the most important new development in our company's twelve-year history, and it's only the start," said David Croyé, founder and CEO of the JustWatch Group. "We called our company JustWatch because we wanted to make it easier for people to find and 'just watch' the movies and shows they love. From the beginning, our vision was to create a single platform that directs fans to all of their entertainment options in one place. JustWatch TV will help fill in the gaps and will make it easier for the massive JustWatch audience to discover and watch great movies and series, including those hard-to-find titles, right from the app itself."

The service offers three ways to watch: JustWatch TV Free, a free, ad-supported curated selection of titles; JustWatch TV Store, a growing selection of recent and popular movies to rent; and JustWatch TV Plus, ad-free access to numerous titles from the catalogue and exclusive streaming guide and app features.

JustWatch TV launched with an initial 30 content partners, with many more already in the pipeline. Newly announced partners include Cineverse in the US, Leonine Studios in Germany, SND in France and Altitude in the UK, joining previously announced partners Paramount, New Regency, Fremantle, Bleecker Street and Vortex Media.

For the JustWatch Group, JustWatch TV is the logical addition to its streaming guide and will provide even deeper audience data and insights for JustWatch Media, the group's campaign planning and buying service for film marketing campaigns across digital platforms like YouTube, Meta and TikTok for studios, distributors, streamers and media agencies.

The JustWatch Group, parent company of the streaming guide, JustWatch Media and JustWatch TV, was founded in 2014 as an integrated entertainment, media and tech company. Its streaming guide helps over 50 million users across 140 markets discover where to watch movies and TV shows, listing streaming options for over 500,000 movies and TV shows across more than 1,500 services worldwide and providing where-to-watch data and streaming charts to over 1,400 partner websites and apps.

The group employs more than 200 people worldwide, headquartered in Berlin, with offices in Los Angeles, London, Paris, Rome, Madrid, Munich, Dubai and Sydney.
