AceShowbiz - Julie Chrisley is reportedly relocated to an undisclosed location as she's waiting for resentencing. Fans wondered about the "Chrisley Knows Best" star's whereabouts as she has been confirmed that she's no longer in custody.
Julie's attorney Jay Surgent addressed the matter in a statement to The U.S. Sun. The lawyer revealed that the reality TV star was transported to another facility for her safety. "Julie was transferred out of Lexington, Kentucky. She's scheduled to be in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 25," her attorney explained.
"The U.S. Marshals Service does the transportation of federal prisoners. They never say where the prisoners are coming from, or where they are going, and when they're in transport," Jay continued. "I suspect at this point in time, I know Julie's picked up some time ago. She's probably not in transport. She's probably being kept from state or county facility pending her Atlanta, Georgia, court date."
According to Jay, the new location is likely "not far from Atlanta." He shared, "So it's not like Julie's missing from the system. Guaranteed that that's not even possible. She's transported privately, securely, nowhere. No one knows where she is. As her council, we would know what the situation was, but at this point, for security reasons, there's no way in heck that they would ever say where she is."
The attorney additionally noted that Julie's family members were also kept dark about her new place.
This came after Julie's request to attend her court hearing virtually was denied. That required her to travel to her former hometown of Atlanta to appear before the judge.
Meanwhile, Julie and Todd Chrisley's daughter Savannah Chrisley recently took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message of encouragement with her fans after her parents were convicted in federal court on multiple charges, including bank fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion in 2019.
"Life is inherently messy, and no one truly has it all figured out!" Savannah wrote on August 27. "And those who claim otherwise are likely hiding their own struggles." She also emphasized the temporary nature of challenges and encouraged her followers to be kind to themselves and seek support from loved ones.
