AceShowbiz - "Celebrity Family Feud" is celebrating a remarkable 10th anniversary and 100th episode on Tuesday, July 9. Host Steve Harvey expressed his insights on what makes the show so enduring. "It gives an everyday person a peek inside celebrities," he said. "They're not smarter than you, they say stupid stuff just like you do. That's the real draw."
Harvey also noted the competitive nature of the show, with celebrities eager to win. The game has hosted a wide range of guests, including the cast of "Yellowjackets", JoJo Siwa, the D'Amelio family, and even the Kardashians.
Reflecting on the Kardashian family's appearance in 2018, Harvey praised them for their kindness towards the crew. He called them "real sweethearts" and debunked any rumors of strife among them. "They're very kind about what they want to say to each other," he told Entertainment Tonight.
Harvey also acknowledged the dominance of athletes in the competition, citing the competitive spirit of NFL legends and Olympians. The upcoming season will feature guests such as Megan Thee Stallion, Ne-Yo, Meghan Trainor and Tori Kelly.
Ultimately, Harvey attributes the show's success to his unfiltered approach. "I said nobody else does a game show that way," he explained. "I kind of turn it into something else. I'm very fortunate that ABC let me do it that way."
"Celebrity Family Feud" season 10 premieres Tuesday, July 9 at 8 P.M. ET/PT on ABC.
