The NFL announces that the country superstar is set to deliver the national anthem while the spitter and the soul singer are slated to perform 'America the Beautiful' and 'Lift Every Voice and Sing' respectively.

AceShowbiz - The NFL has announced an entertainment lineup for Super Bowl LVIII pregame. Less than one month ahead of the big event, Reba McEntire, Post Malone and Andra Day were revealed as performers.

On Thursday, January 18, the official Instagram account of the NFL shared the news on the social media platform. In the announcement, it could be seen that Reba, Post Malone and Andra will take the stage prior to the championship matchup and halftime show on February 11 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 68-year-old country superstar, Reba, is set to deliver the national anthem while Post Malone will entertain viewers with the "America the Beautiful" song. Furthermore, it was unveiled that Andra is slated to sing a rendition of "Lift Every Voice and Sing".

In the wake of the revelation, Reba voiced her thoughts on her forthcoming performance. "I'm honored to be part of something as big and historic as the Super Bowl coming to Las Vegas for the first time. 2024 marks 50 years since I was discovered singing the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo and I can't think of a better way to celebrate that anniversary," she stated in a press release.

Following the pregame entertainment, Usher will stun viewers with his special gig for the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show. Recently, Usher spilled what fans can expect from his performance. He told Vogue earlier in January, "This night was specifically curated in my mind to have R&B take the main stage. Not just R&B music, but R&B performance, R&B connection, R&B spirit."

According to the magazine, "There will be skating, and the killer choreography you might have come to expect" in Usher's performance. It continued, "There will be at least one major costume change; and perhaps most pivotally, there will be some important guests," before noting that he "promises that the audience will feel that they are personally being serenaded." He said, "I'm literally speaking to every woman. I want to make it feel like that."
