After a teaser for his upcoming performance was released, the 'Love in This Club' singer claims that he wants his fans to 'walk away with something that's healing them.'

AceShowbiz - Usher has shared a few hints about his upcoming performance. Less than one month ahead of taking the stage at Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show, the "Love in This Club" singer reveals what fans can expect from the gig.

The 45-year-old Grammy-winning singer teased his forthcoming performance in a new interview published on Wednesday, January 17. Speaking to Vogue, he said, "People will tune in for a football game, but I hope when they look at that halftime performance, I'm hoping they walk away with something that's healing them."

Usher, whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, explained, "Something that makes them feel hopeful, and not just look at the past, but have hope for the future, and have hope for a different type of future than we're looking at right now in the present."

The "Good Good" singer went on to spill, "This night was specifically curated in my mind to have R&B take the main stage." He then elaborated, "Not just R&B music, but R&B performance, R&B connection, R&B spirit."

According to Vogue, "there will be skating, and the killer choreography you might have come to expect" in Usher's performance. The magazine continued, "There will be at least one major costume change; and perhaps most pivotally, there will be some important guests."

Vogue also noted that the "OMG" singer "promises that the audience will feel that they are personally being serenaded." He told the magazine, "I'm literally speaking to every woman. I want to make it feel like that."

Usher is set to take the stage on February 11 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. On Friday, January 12, a new trailer for his Super Bowl Halftime Show was released by Apple Music. The footage itself highlights him during 30 years of his career in music.

In addition to the R&B singer, his fellow famous figures, including basketball player Lebron James, singer/rapper J Balvin and Korean singer/dancer Jungkook, are also featured in the video. Near the end of the clip, Usher is documented striking a pose in between a text that read, "One performance, 30 years in the making."
