Organizers of the annual festival reveal in a statement that they have been forced to cancel the event because of the 'combination of logistics, timing and production issues.'

AceShowbiz - Travis Scott (II)'s first U.S. festival appearance since the Astroworld tragedy has been canceled. The "SICKO MODE" rapper was set to headline Day N Vegas in September, but the event organizers announced that the plan has been scrapped.

"We're sorry to announce that a combination of logistics, timing and production issues have forced us to cancel Day N Vegas for 2022," so read the announcement shared on Instagram on Friday, July 1. "The refund process will begin immediately, and funds will appear back to your account within the next 2-4 weeks."

"All orders will be refunded to the credit card used to complete purchase. If you purchased a festival pass(es) via AXS and have questions about the refund process, please contact AXS via support.axs.com," it added. "For Fuse Hotel Package support, please visit daynvegas2022.com for more info."

It was confirmed in June that Travis would headline the festival on September 4. He was supposed to be joined by the likes of Baby Keem, Jhene Aiko, Pusha T, Blxst, Freddie Gibbs and Chloe Bailey among others at Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

Meanwhile, the September 2 and 3 shows would be headlined by SZA and J. Cole respectively. Other big names included Summer Walker, 21 Savage, Playboi Carti as well as H.E.R.

This was not the first time Travis had to cancel his Day N Vegas performance. In November 2021, Kylie Jenner's baby daddy was exited the show after eight people died at his Astroworld festival. Following his withdrawal, Post Malone stepped in as a replacement, joining Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, the Creator.

Despite the cancellation of this year's Day N Vegas, fans of Travis can still see him at the Primavera Sound festival in South America later this year. He will kick off his set on November 6 alongside Lorde in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

On November 12, the emcee is set to hit the stage with Charli XCX, Father John Misty and Mitski in Buenos Aires, Argentina. On the next day, he will greet fans in Santiago, Chile. His set will be followed by Icelandic singer/songwriter Bjork's.
