Leading up to his Coachella show, Scott generated buzz by teasing his forthcoming album. "JACKBOYS 2 on the way, man. Let that motherf----- ride, ya dig," Scott teased, signaling a follow-up to his 2019 album "JACKBOYS."

Reflecting on his creative process in a recent Complex cover story, Scott shared his affinity for beatmaking. "A lot of beats are kind of the same. Like, you're hearing a lot of the same beats and the same drums. So that process [of beatmaking] is what makes it exciting to make the songs," he explained.

Scott is not just resting on his laurels; he is eager to explore new artistic avenues. "I'm excited about new music. Utopia was an ultra passion for me, because I had to get that creativity off and I'm glad it's lasted as long as it lasted," he said about his 2023 album. He added, "For this next album, I just want to have the most ultimate fun with being creative."

Coachella this year features an impressive lineup with headliners like Green Day, Lady Gaga, and Post Malone, along with performances by Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, BLACKPINK's Lisa and Jennie, Ed Sheeran, and more.
