The tour bus, which was parked outside the hotel the 'Down in the DM' rapper was staying, was shot multiple times after his concert at the Mercy Lounge on Tuesday night.

AceShowbiz - Another rapper has been linked to a shooting. Yo Gotti's tour bus was rained down with bullets after his concert in Nashville on Tuesday night, May 14. The bus was parked outside the hotel where the Memphis-based star was staying.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired on Hayes Street and Louise Avenue near the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel at 11:10 P.M. A witness tells TMZ that "he heard rapid gunfire for about 6 seconds and then heard screeching tires as a car sped away." Officers found the bus had been struck by gunfire multiple times, blowing out at least one of its tires and leaving holes all over the body, police spokeswoman Kris Mumford said.

Luckily, nobody was on board the bus when the shooting happened and no one was injured in the incident. It's still unclear if the intention was simply to vandalize the bus or there's another target in the shooting. Police are currently investigating the incident, but no arrests are made so far.

Gotti had just performed at the Mercy Lounge earlier that night. He promoted the "free show" on Twitter prior to the concert as part of his Fan Appreciation Tour, but has not addressed the shooting on his social media account.

This is the latest shooting involving a rapper in less than a week. On Wednesday, May 8, someone opened fire at the Crossover Entertainment Group studio in Atlanta when Offset was recording music in the building. It's not clear if the Migos rapper was targeted in the shooting.

Two days later, Young Thug was reportedly targeted in a shooting in Miami. It was reported that his car and two party buses filled with his team were rained down with bullets on Friday morning. However, his spokesperson denied that Thug was involved in the shooting. According to the spokesperson, the bullets were apparently aimed at another rapper, DJ Keyz, who suffered a minor injury in the incident. Thug "was long gone" when the shooting happened, so the rep claimed.

Later on Sunday, May 12, shots were fired at YoungBoy Never Broke Again a.k.a. NBA YoungBoy and his crew outside the Trump Beach Resort in Miami. His girlfriend Kay Marie was injured in the incident and a hotel employee died from a gunshot wound. Additionally, a 5-year-old child was grazed by a bullet during the shooting.
