AceShowbiz - Yo Gotti has sadly lost his older brother. According to multiple reports, Anthony "Big Jook" Mims was killed during a shooting outside a restaurant in Memphis in what police called a targeted attack.

The incident took place around 4:15 P.M. on Saturday, January 13 outside Perignons Restaurant & Event Center near Winchester Road. Per reports, the shooting took place after he had attended a funeral service in the area.

Two men got shot during the ordeal, including Big Jook who was rushed to St. Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to Fox 13. A second individual was taken to the same hospital in a private car, before being airlifted to Regional One Health in Memphis in critical condition.

Police have yet to identify the suspects, and no arrests have been made. "Right now, we do have video that we are analyzing, but we don't have a clear suspect identified at this time," Memphis Deputy Police Chief Paul Wright said during a press conference.

"But we know that a weapon was used, a firearm was used in this incident," he added. "We do feel that the individual that was shot was possibly targeted by the suspect."

There were pictures and videos surfacing online that purportedly show Jook bleeding on the ground with people attending to him. Details of the murder remain unclear, but Jook is confirmed dead.

Big Jook was close to his famous brother Yo Gotti, whose real name is Mario Sentell Giden Mims. He appeared to officially be affiliated with Gotti's label Collective Music Group, promoting artists under the imprint and appearing in music videos for them as well.

Prior to his death, Yo Gotti's brother posted on his Instagram Stories on Saturday honoring a fallen relative. It's safe to assume that it was the individual's funeral that Jook attended.
