AceShowbiz - Things are not gonna be easier for Danny Rand (Finn Jones) in season 2 of "Marvel's Iron Fist". In the upcoming new season of the Netflix series, Danny will face a new, tougher supervillain Davos a.k.a. the Steel Serpent (Sacha Dhawan) who was teased in the almost-3-minute first season 2 trailer.

The action-packed trailer opens with Danny knocking down a slew of men while somewhere in the trailer he tells Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) that he's "just trying to keep the peace" among the many warring gangs of New York.

But peace seemingly is a luxury for Danny as his former bestie Davos arrives in the city after he knows that his home of K'un-Lun has gone. "We have family matters to discuss," Davos says to Danny. He comes to seek vengeance for his lost city.

The fiesty fight between Danny and Davos seems to be the heart of the upcoming sophomore season. Being Danny's biggest threat yet, it's not gonna be easy for him to get rid of Davos. But Danny is not alone since Misty Knight (Simone Missick) offers him a help to beat down the Steel Serpent.

While Danny is receiving help from the detective with a robotic arm, Davos is joining forces with Joy Meachum (Jessica Stroup). Also glimpsed in the trailer is Alice Eve as Typhoid Mary, though the context of her appearance is not much known.

According to the official synopsis, season 2 of the Netflix series will follow the titular character "as he fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist." Fans speculate that the hero will suit up in the character's iconic yellow-and-green costume in the new season.

Season 2 of "Marvel's Iron Fist" is slated to premiere on September 7 on Netflix.
