AceShowbiz - "Marvel's Iron Fist" has released new images from upcoming season 2. The new images reveal the first look at Alice Eve's villainous character Typhold Mary. It shows the split personality of the character.
Coming through the Instagram account of the Netflix show, the first image shows Eve's take on Mary Walker, the real name of Typhoid Mary. Donning a mustard top beneath her black outer, Mary is seen smiling brightly. She is depicted as the nicest personality out of three personalities she possesses.
Meanwhile, the second image features Typhold Mary as she sports a fierce gaze while holding a sword. Typhoid Mary is a more ambitious and lustful version of herself. It is said that the second photo is taken from a scene shown at San Diego Comic-Con which was held last month.
In addition to Mary Walker and Typhoid Mary, another personality she has is Bloody Mary that is dubbed the deadliest of the others. "You never really know someone until you see both sides," the account perfectly captions the photos.
Mary was first introduced in 1988 by Ann Nocenti and John Romita Jr. in Marvel's Daredevil #254. Typhoid Mary is an enemy and former lover of Matt Murdock who possesses low-level psionic powers -- pyrokinesis, telekinesis, limited mind control -- as well as finely honed athletic and martial-arts abilities. An assassin who suffers from dissociative identity disorder.
Also starring Finn Jones as Danny Rand, Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Sacha Dhawan as Davos, Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum and Simone Missick as Misty Knight, the sophomore season of "Marvel's Iron Fist" is set to arrive on September 7 on Netflix.
