A few days before "Dancing with the Stars" officially announces its season 16 cast, rumors are swirling about who will join the show. Most recently, TMZ claims to have learned four of the celebrity contestants.

The stars who reportedly will compete for the mirror ball trophy are "American Idol" alumna Kellie Pickler, "The Bachelor" star Sean Lowe, country star Wynonna Judd, Olympic gold medal winning gymnast Aly Raisman.

A rep for "DWTS", however, refuses to confirm nor deny the report, stating, "We do not comment on casting rumors, but tune in to 'GMA' on Tuesday when we reveal the cast live!"

Meanwhile, other reports say pro dancers Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Chelsie Hightower may not return to the reality show this coming season. As a source tells Access Hollywood that Maksim is not asked to return, the Ukrainian dancer wrote a cryptic message on his Twitter, "BAM! Someone landed in LA LA LAND! So many peeps to catch up with! So much exciting stuff coming up! #OutWithTheOld."

Saying that she's a bit shocked about Maksim's departure, Chelsie let it slip about her own exit when being interviewed by TMZ. When asked if she left too, she claimed that it's not her choice, hinting that she isn't asked to return either.
