AceShowbiz - DaBaby recently faced disruption during his Miami concert when Braden Peters, known as Clavicular, reportedly attempted to halt the performance over safety concerns. The incident unfolded mid-show at Bacara, a club co-owned by Clavicular and Wack 100, where the streamer confronted staff near the stage while the rapper continued performing.
Video footage captured Clavicular engaging with club personnel, raising alarms about the presence of firearms allegedly brought in by DaBaby’s entourage. Although the rapper, whose real name is Jonathan Kirk, inquired if everything was alright, the influencer expressed clear apprehension regarding what he described as attempts to introduce guns into the venue. Despite the tension, the concert proceeded without further interruption.
DaBaby has a history of legal issues, including a 2024 guilty plea for misdemeanor simple battery linked to an altercation during a 2020 music video shoot in Los Angeles. The resolution included probation, restitution, and credit for time served. Additionally, he was arrested in Miami in 2020 due to a Texas warrant related to an alleged robbery.
Clavicular has also encountered legal troubles recently. In April 2024, he pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge in Florida after discharging a firearm publicly during a livestream involving a deceased alligator. His legal representative emphasized that no harm came to any person and the alligator was already dead at the time.
The nightclub confrontation occurred shortly after Clavicular’s hospitalization for an overdose earlier in April, an experience he described as a wake-up call that led to his decision to abstain from drugs going forward.
While the event sparked controversy, DaBaby maintained control of the situation and completed his set without further incident, amid the ongoing scrutiny surrounding both individuals’ recent legal and personal challenges.
