AceShowbiz - Olivia Rodrigo has secured her fourth No. 1 single on the U.K. Official Singles Chart with her latest release, Drop Dead, debuting at the top spot during the week of April 25.
The track replaces Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s collaboration Rein Me In, which had dominated the chart for five consecutive weeks and eight non-consecutive weeks overall before being unseated.
Drop Dead is the lead single from Olivia Rodrigo’s upcoming third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, scheduled for release on June 12. The song was performed live for the first time last weekend at Coachella, where she shared the stage with Addison Rae.
This accomplishment places Drop Dead alongside Olivia Rodrigo’s previous U.K. chart-topping singles: drivers license (2021), good 4 u (2021), and vampire (2023). Additionally, her first two studio albums, SOUR and GUTS, both reached number one on the Official Albums Chart.
Despite slipping from number one, Rein Me In holds strong at No. 2 as Olivia Dean begins her global The Art of Loving tour, which launched on April 23 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Following his prominent appearance at Coachella, Justin Bieber continues to see multiple entries rise on the U.K. charts. His 2012 hit Beauty and a Beat climbs to a new peak at No. 3, while the 2025 release Daises jumps 10 places to No. 5, a song that originally reached No. 1. Other Bieber tracks, including Baby (No. 17) and the Sean Kingston collaboration Eenie Meenie (No. 32), also remain within the top 40.
Tame Impala’s Dracula drops two spots to No. 4. Other notable top 10 entries include Alex Warren’s Fever Dream at No. 5 and Sombr’s Homewrecker at No. 7.
On the U.K. Official Albums Chart, Skindred’s ninth studio album, You Got This, claims the No. 1 position for the first time in their career, narrowly surpassing Jessie Ware’s Superbloom, which settles at No. 2. Zayn’s Konnakol rounds out the top five at No. 4.
Olivia Rodrigo’s continued chart success with Drop Dead reinforces her status as a dominant force in the U.K. music scene as anticipation builds for her forthcoming album release in June.
