AceShowbiz - Ozzy Osbourne will be honored with a heartfelt tribute at the 2026 BRIT Awards scheduled for Saturday, February 28. The legendary rock icon, who passed away in July at age 76, will receive a posthumous BRITs Lifetime Achievement Award during the ceremony’s closing performance.
Robbie Williams is set to lead the tribute, performing a specially arranged version of "No More Tears," the title track from Osbourne's acclaimed 1991 solo album. The tribute will also include notable musicians who played with Osbourne over the years, such as Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos, and Zakk Wylde. This segment has been thoughtfully curated by Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne's widow.
Ozzy Osbourne has a long history with the BRIT Awards, having hosted the event in 2008 alongside Sharon Osbourne and their children, Kelly and Jack. Throughout his career, Osbourne has been recognized with numerous accolades. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice: first with Black Sabbath in 2019, and later as a solo artist in 2024. His other honors include five Grammy Awards, induction into the UK Music Hall of Fame, and the Ivor Novello Award for Lifetime Achievement as a member of Black Sabbath.
Stacey Tang, chair of the 2026 BRIT Awards Committee and co-president of RCA Records at Sony Music UK, praised Osbourne’s impact, stating, "Ozzy Osbourne has been a mighty force in modern music. Possessing an unmistakable voice and unique presence, he reshaped the sound and spirit of rock, inspiring generations of artists who followed." She added that the Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates Osbourne’s remarkable legacy built on originality and lasting influence, which continues to resonate with fans worldwide.
