The couple took to Instagram to announce their joyful news on Wednesday, sharing a monochrome video featuring their newborn baby girl. Accompanying the video was a card revealing her weight as seven pounds and 12 ounces. In the caption, they introduced her as Ozzy Matilda Osbourne, a name honoring the legendary Black Sabbath frontman.

This announcement arrives nearly eight months after the passing of Ozzy Osbourne, who died on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76 following a heart attack. His health struggles included coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease. Prior to his death, Ozzy gave fans a poignant farewell with a concert titled Back to the Beginning, performing alongside members of Black Sabbath at Villa Park in Birmingham, his hometown.

In August last year, Jack Osbourne shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, reflecting on his relationship with his father. He wrote, "He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be part of a very small group that got to call him 'Dad.' My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude. I got 14,501 days with that man, and I know that is such a blessing."

Kelly Osbourne, daughter of Ozzy, also expressed her grief on social media. She referenced the opening line of the 1972 Black Sabbath song "Changes," writing, "I feel unhappy. I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had."

Ozzy Matilda Osbourne is the second child of Jack and Aree Osbourne. Their first child, Maple Artemis Osbourne, was born on July 9, 2022.
