AceShowbiz - Despite Fox's previous failed attempt to reboot the franchise, Disney doesn't lose hope on the Fantastic Four just yet. Instead, the studio gave a green light to the second reboot titled "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" that comes from Matt Shakman.
As Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed that the reboot will not have an origin story, the movie is set on a 1960s-inspired retro-futuristic world, hinting at a new direction that it takes. It boasts an ensemble cast led by Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic, with Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm / Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm / Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm / The Thing.
