The reimagining of Will Smith's iconic 90's sitcom 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' is officially announced to conclude with its upcoming fourth season which will be reduced to eight episodes.

AceShowbiz - "Bel-Air", produced by Universal Television and Westbrook Studios, has been renewed for a final eight-episode season, a departure from the 10-episode format of its previous three seasons. The renewal comes after behind-the-scenes budget discussions.
The series, which originally received a two-season commitment from Peacock in 2020, has become a cornerstone for the streaming service. It launched Peacock's original series map and remains its first homegrown hit.
Jabari Banks stars as Will, played by Will Smith in the original sitcom. The cast also includes Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, Olly Sholotan, Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jimmy Akingbola, Jordan L. Jones, and Simone Joy Jones. Carla Banks Waddles serves as showrunner since Season 2.
"Bel-Air" has featured notable guest stars, including original "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" cast members Tatyana Ali, Joseph Marcell, Vernee Watson-Johnson, and Daphne Maxwell Reid, as well as Bianca Belair, Bill Bellamy, Justin Cornwell, Andra Day, and Saweetie.
Morgan Cooper, whose viral four-minute spec trailer inspired the series, executive produces alongside Will Smith, Terence Carter, James Lassiter, Miguel Melendez, Benny Medina, Quincy Jones, and Andy & Susan Borowitz. The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Westbrook Studios, a division of Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith's media company Westbrook Inc.
