In an episode of their 'Chrisley Confessions' podcast, the couple shares how they're living their days amid their impending time in prison after being sentenced to 12 and 7 years in prison in tax fraud case.

AceShowbiz - Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley are breaking their silence after being sentenced to 12 and 7 years in prison in tax fraud case. In the latest episode of their "Chrisley Confessions" podcast, the couple shared how they're living their days amid their impending time in prison.
"Age is just a number, and since we don't know our death date, we have to live every day as if it's our last," Julie said while reading a quote from author Priscilla Shirer. Todd agreed as he added, "Yesterday doesn't matter. Today is what we have. Tomorrow belongs to God, because we're not promised tomorrow."
Julie went on to share that God will "equip" you with what you need to accomplish the most difficult of tasks. "God will call you to do something, and he'll equip you to do it. He'll give you what you need to do it," Julie insisted. Todd chimed in, "What God calls us through, he will walk us through."
Elsewhere in the episode, Julie admitted that she tried to approach every tough moment with the idea that her children are watching. "The difficulties I'm going through, how I handle it -- they're watching that as well," she explained.
She continued, "If I handle it right, they're watching, if I screw it up, they're watching, and so, for me as a parent, I want to try to make sure that I do it right more than I do it wrong, because I know they're watching, and I know it will prepare them for difficulties, unfortunately, that they will have later in life."
Todd went on to say that he and Julie have tried to be good examples for their children though he admits they have "fallen short" at times. Todd, who has raised their five children, Lindsie (33), Kyle (31), Chase (26), Savannah (25) and Grayson (16) with Julie, shared, "So where I could've listened and let them explain their position, as dumb as it was going to be, it wasn't going to change what I was going to say, but I could have given them more of a voice to explain their position in."
"In raising children to be Godly, I think that we have to be Godly," he continued.
"You have to live above your circumstances, you have to know that your circumstances are not forever, that they will eventually change and you're going to come out the other side, and that you're going to be given the strength you need to get through it," Julie said. "But that's sometimes hard to accept, I think, when you don't see the light at the end of the tunnel."
"There are dark days, we all have dark days," Todd noted, adding, "and we can choose to sit and wallow in it, or we can get up."
