The 'Chrisley Knows Best' star, currently incarcerated for tax evasion and fraud, has been removed from his job as an Assistant to the Chaplain at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola.

AceShowbiz - Todd Chrisley, 55, is serving a 12-year sentence at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola. His attorney, Jay Surgent, confirmed that Chrisley was removed from his position due to "associating with inmates" who are part of the prison's Residential Drug Abuse Program.
Chrisley had been assisting the chaplain with organizing religious services for Christian, Jewish, and Muslim inmates. However, prison officials felt that he was "getting too chatty" with certain inmates, according to Surgent.
Surgent said that Chrisley was disappointed to lose his job, but remains optimistic. "He believes that in the end, God will work things out for him, Julie, and his family," Surgent said.
Federal Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on Chrisley's removal for privacy reasons.
Chrisley's dismissal comes after his wife, Julie Chrisley, was resentenced in September 2023 to serve a seven-year prison term. Her original sentencing was upheld despite a legal error in the calculation of her sentence.
Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted in 2022 for conspiring to defraud community banks out of $30 million in fraudulent loans. They are scheduled to be released in June 26, 2032, and April 22, 2028, respectively.
