Earlier this year, the 'Akeelah and the Bee' actress, who is gearing up for her big 'SNL' hosting debut, found her name on Twitter's trending topic for impersonating the '9-1-1' star.

AceShowbiz - Keke Palmer is updating her Angela Bassett impersonation. In a funny "Saturday Night Live" promo, the "Akeelah and the Bee" actress, who's preparing her hosting debut on the ABC show, impersonates Angela's "Black Panther" role.

The video shared on Wednesday, November 30, began with "SNL" star Devon Walker approaching Keke as she's reading a script. "I just wanted to say that it's so cool that you're hosting this week...I mean, you're like one of Hollywood's last true triple threats," Devon told the 29-year-old actress.

"Well, actually, I'm an octuple threat," Keke responds, before showing off her skills in singing, acting and dancing. At one point, the "Nope" star provides an update to her classic Angela impression, reenacting Angela's acclaimed scene opposite co-star Danai Gurira in "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever".

Devon later asks about her other five skills, to which Keke shows how highly skilled she is in beekeeping, painting, doing magic and perfectly folding a fitted sheet. When Devon points out that she's only listed seven "threats," the actress responds that she "never said I could count." She then exclaims, "I'll see you at the show in 10 days," while walking away as Devon attempts to correct her that the show is only three days away.

Keke is scheduled to host the Saturday, December 3 episode of "Saturday Night Live". The "Hustlers" actress will be joined by SZA, who will make her second stop on the comedy skit as a musical guest.

Of her preparations for her "SNL" hosting duty, Keke told CNN, "I'm thrilled to the moon. I just can't wait." She elaborated more, "I know it's gonna be so much fun. I'm really excited about it and just looking forward to doing it."

"I think it's gonna be a unique experience, but also some familiar territory. And then it'll just be fun seeing how they do it, you know, on their side of it. Because I love sketch," Keke continued, before sharing that Amy Schumer "actually talked to me about it and was walking me kind of through the whole thing. I just wanna entertain, y'all and let's have a good night."

Earlier this year, Keke trended on Twitter for impersonating Angela. During an interview with WIRED, Keke did two impressions of Angela. "So there's one impression I do from 'American Dream: The Michael Jackson Story', where she finds out that her husband's been cheating on her. And she's like answers the phone and hears him on the other line talking to somebody," she explained.

"And she's like, 'You a liar and you a cheater. And I don't want you, I don't want you, I don't want you no more,' " Keke mimicked Angela. She then said, "And with Angela, it's all in the lips, it's all in the lips."

Keke also impersonated Angela in Tina Turner's biopic "What's Love Got to Do With It". "When she's talking to her friend and her friend is like not messing around with Laurence Fishburne's character, Ike Turner. She's not dealing with him being abusive," she detailed, before impersonating Angela, "And then Angela Bassett's like, 'It's okay, it's okay,' " adding Angela's signature lips movements.
