On February 5, it was announced that the Emmy-winning singer, actress, and podcaster will lead the awards show on April 29, celebrating another remarkable year of women's achievements in the music industry. This exciting event will be held at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, featuring award presentations and live performances.
“Women in Music is about recognizing success and possibility,” stated Leila Cobo, Billboard’s co-chief editorial officer. “We’re proud to shine a spotlight on women who are not only making great music but also transforming the industry.”
Alongside her hosting duties, Keke Palmer will also showcase her musical talent during the event. Her recent album, Just Keke, was released in June and has garnered significant attention.
“This year’s honorees possess bold vision, global influence, and artistic excellence across genres — and we’re especially thrilled to have Keke Palmer as our host,” added Dana Droppo, Billboard’s chief brand officer. “Keke embodies the spirit of Women in Music: fearless, multifaceted, and deeply respected across entertainment and culture. She brings a vivacious energy, sharp perspective, and lovable authenticity that will make this year’s show truly special.”
While the 2026 honorees have yet to be revealed, the award recipients, including the prestigious Woman of the Year, will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets and tables for the event will be available for purchase soon.
Last year’s Women in Music event saw Doechii receive the Woman of the Year award, with stars like Gracie Abrams, JENNIE from BLACKPINK, aespa, and Megan Moroney accepting various honors. Over the years, the event has celebrated numerous influential artists, including Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, SZA, Charli xcx, Rosalía, and Doja Cat.
