AceShowbiz - Elon Musk isn't impressed with "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power". Taking to his Twitter account, the Tesla CEO shared his two cents on the mega-budget prequel series of the popular "The Lord of the Rings" movies.

Trashing the Amazon Prime Video's fantasy series, Elon wrote on Monday, September 5, "Tolkien is turning in his grave," referring to author J.R.R. Tolkien. In another tweet, he went on to weigh in on the characters on the show, "Almost every male character so far is a coward, a jerk or both. Only Galadriel is brave, smart and nice."

Galadriel is a major female character on the show. Played by Morfydd Clark, the character is one of the greatest elves in Tolkien's fictional Middle-earth realm. Meanwhile, Cate Blanchett played the role in Peter Jackson's films.

Elon's condemning tweets may be his pure review on the show. However, some people believed that his beef with Amazon's billionaire founder Jeff Bezos may have something to do with the remarks.

"The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" premiered its first two episodes on September 1. Amazon reportedly holds the reviews for 72 hours to weed out trolls after it became a victim of "review bombing" on Rotten Tomatoes. On the site, the fantasy series had a "rotten" 39 percent as its average audience score compared to an 84 percent critics score.

"The epic drama is set thousands of years before the events of 'The Hobbit' and 'The Lord of the Rings', and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien's pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness," the logline reads. "Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth."

"The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" is available to stream on Prime Video.
