'American Idol' Recap: Top 10 Perform Live on Disney Night

The remaining 10 singers of the long-running singing competition show hit the stage to belt out beloved Disney tunes in hopes of securing America's vote with three of them being sent home at the end of the episode.

AceShowbiz - The Top 10 hit the stage in the new episode of "American Idol". Airing on Sunday, May 1, the singers hit the stage on the iconic Disney Night during which they belted out beloved Disney tunes in hopes of securing America's vote with Derek Hough serving as the mentor.

Kicking off the night were the five female contestants who sang "We Don't Talk About Bruno" from "Encanto". They were later joined by Adassa and Rhenzy Feliz. Lady K then performed "How Far I'll Go" from "Moana". Lionel Richie said her growth was "unbelievable," while Katy Perry gushed over her "stunning" vocals.

Noah Thompson followed it up with a performance of "You've Got a Friend in Me" from "Toy Story". Katy thought that Noah reinvented the song, while Luke Bryan said that he has a promising future. Emyrson Flora, meanwhile, sang "Carry Me With You" from "Onward". Lionel dubbed her performance "top notch material."

Singing "I See the Light" from "Tangled" was HunterGirl. It was a magical performance with Luke praising HunterGirl for carrying the torch of country music. As for Jay, he opted to belt out "Remember Me" from "Coco". Katy said that he "controlled" his singing well, while Lionel called Jay a star.

Up next was Leah Marlene, who sang "When She Loved Me" from "Toy Story 2". Luke named her an amazing singer. Katy also said that Leah's delivery was silky smooth. As for Nicolina, she performed "Poor Unfortunate Souls" from "The Little Mermaid". Katy and Lionel loved the performance which Lionel called the best Disney night ever.

Later, Mike Turner hoped to impress the judges with a performance of "You'll Be in My Heart" from "Tarzan". Katy loved the performance, while Luke said that Mike navigated the song amazingly. Christian Guardino sang "Circle of Life" from "The Lion King" and he totally nailed it. Lionel even gave him a standing applause.

Rounding out the night was Fritz Hager. He belted out "Go the Distance" from "Hercules". Lionel loved it and Katy urged America to vote for Fritz.

Three singers were eliminated at the end of the episode. Making up the Top 7 were Leah, Jay, Noah, Fritz, HunterGirl, Nicolina and Christian. Unfortunately, Lady K, Mike and Emyrson were sent home.
