AceShowbiz - DaBaby's new song didn't get positive reactions. After he released "Sneaky Link Anthem" along with its visuals, the "ROCKSTAR" hitmaker found himself being called "corny" by online users.

The 30-year-old released the track and the self-directed music video on Sunday, January 16. In it, he gets candid about his affair with someone and embraces his role as "the rap game villain" following his homophobic controversy.

"Baby most hated, I'm the rap game villain/ Three babies, tryna run up thirty million," he raps. "Had the suicide doors when I get out/ Missed it thinkin' they know me, better get out/ Super famous, media be on my d**k now/ They hate on me and it's okay."

Unfortunately, many people found his new music less than interesting. "Aw yeah @DaBabyDaBaby you bogus as hell for that weak a** sneaky link song. You one corny f**k ain't you?" one Twitter user argued. Another asked, "Why is DaBaby singing? He can't stop being corny if he tried."

The hate continued with one writing, "That s**t so corny it's funny ngl. Cause what is this. This the first time DaBaby had me in tears." Someone else chimed in, "That's what I get for going down that #dababy rabbit hole. My ears can't unhear the foolishness I just heard."

DaBaby has become a target by online trolls after he made "insensitive" HIV/AIDS comments and homophobic rant during his gig at Rolling Loud in Miami back in July 2021. Aside from getting backlash, he got cut from several events such as Austin City Limits, iHeartRadio, Lollapalooza and U.K.'s Parklife festivals.

DaBaby later addressed the controversy when performing at Hot 97's Summer Jam 2021 on August 22. "I never in my life meant to offend anybody, you know, and I apologize... that ain't even how I rock," he said at that time.

"But check this out, other than the people that was truly offended, I feel like the rest of y'all motherf**kers are being cry babies," DaBaby added, before breaking out into his hit single with Megan Thee Stallion, "Cry Baby".
