AceShowbiz - "Bridgerton" season two has wrapped filming. Showrunner Chris Van Dusen has confirmed the cast just completed work on the hotly-awaited installment of the hit Netflix period drama.

Alongside a snap of him embracing the program's stars Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton) and Simone Ashley (Kate Sharma), Chris wrote, "That's a wrap on Season Two! So proud of this cast and crew who brought their A-games to work each and every day in this very challenging year."

"And these two in this photo with me right here. Words are not enough. Coming in 2022," Van Dusen closed the post with "#BuckleUp. Bailey also posted a photo of himself at the wrap party on his Instagram account, saying his "heart was full."

Bridgerton, is produced by Shonda Rhimes' production company Shondaland based on a series of novels of the same name by Julia Quinn. The show follows the Bridgerton family, a family of aristocrats in the Regency era of London. The show's first season focused on Daphne Bridgerton, played by Phoebe Dynevor, and Simon, Duke of Hastings, played by Rege-Jean Page.

Meanwhile, the second season is set to switch protagonists, with the new season to follow the romance between Anthony, played by Bailey and Kate, played by new cast member Ashley.
