AceShowbiz - Sense and Sensibility, the contemporary take on Jane Austen's beloved novel starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles, is now available on digital platforms and is set to arrive on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on December 15, 2026, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
The film, from Focus Features, is directed by Georgia Oakley and adapted for the screen by Diana Reid. It stars Edgar-Jones as Elinor and Creed-Miles as Marianne, alongside an ensemble cast featuring Caitríona Balfe, Frank Dillane, Herbert Nordrum, George MacKay and Fiona Shaw.
The home entertainment release comes packed with exclusive bonus content, including never-before-seen interviews with the cast and crew. A director's commentary with Oakley is also included.
A trailer for the home entertainment release has been released, offering a look at the film's picturesque Devonshire, England, setting and the dynamic between the sisters.
The Rotten Tomatoes Certified Fresh film is a charming, witty and deeply relatable exploration of love, heartbreak and sisterhood. The Dashwood sisters share an unbreakable bond, but Elinor and Marianne frequently clash as only siblings can. As they navigate the thrills and disappointments of romance, each must decide whether to follow head or heart.
The film runs 2 hours and 11 minutes and is rated PG for thematic elements, partial nudity and brief violence.
