The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star has accused Business Moves chiefs of registering the moniker just a month after her daughter's birth in a bid to cash in on the name.

AceShowbiz - Kylie Jenner is calling on U.S. authorities to cancel a trademark bearing her daughter Stormi's name, arguing the applicants obtained the rights in bad faith.

The reality star and makeup mogul welcomed her first child, Stormi Webster, with rapper Travis Scott (II) in February, 2018, and she recently filed paperwork with officials at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to secure the rights to a number of brands related to her little girl's name, including StormiWorld.

However, she was slapped with a lawsuit from Business Moves Consulting bosses, who claimed her trademarks, if granted, would cause confusion with their own Stormi Couture label.

Now Jenner has hit back, accusing Business Moves chiefs of registering Stormi Couture just a month after her daughter's birth in a bid to cash in on the name.

She is demanding authorities withdraw the trademark permit for Stormi Couture, citing fraud, according to TMZ.

"The Stormi name is well known, and uniquely and unmistakably is associated with Stormi Webster," her lawyers explain in the legal documents.

They point out that the two-year-old has "achieved fame in her own right," with her "StormiWorld" birthday parties receiving media coverage in publications like Vogue, while a dedicated makeup line, released as part of Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics range, is extremely popular with fans, too.

Jenner's representatives also note a similar move pulled by BMC employees in 2018, when they obtained the rights to Asahd Couture shortly after the arrival of DJ Khaled's son, Asahd. The hip-hop producer sued over the incident.

A ruling has yet to be made.
