Insisting that she doesn't miss performing, the 'Bad Teacher' star adds that she finds it fun that people don't know what she is up to and that she doesn't have to give anybody anything.

AceShowbiz - Cameron Diaz has no interest in a Hollywood comeback, insisting she may never return to acting.

The 46-year-old star's film credit was in 2014's "Annie" and she admits the thought of stepping in front of the camera again doesn't appeal to her in the slightest.

"The way I look at it is that I've given more than half of my life to the public," Cameron, who made her big debut as an actress in 1994 comedy "The Mask", tells InStyle in a rare interview. "I feel it's OK for me to take time for myself now, to reorganise and choose how I want to come (back) into the world. If I decide to. I don't miss performing."

Cameron adds, "It's fun to just not have anybody know what I'm up to. Because my time is mine. I'm not selling any films, and because I'm not selling anything, I don't have to give anybody anything. I'm not doing this anymore. I'm living my life."

Although the "Shrek" star, who married rocker Benji Madden in 2015, has written off acting for now, she is exploring other business opportunities.

"Right now I'm looking at the landscape of wellness and all that," she shared, "but whatever I do, it has to be something I'm passionate about - something that just feels effortless."

Cameron, who has already written two books about health and well-being, is even considering fashion design.

"I have some things brewing, but it's a little too early to talk about them," she said. "I love everything that my girlfriends are doing, like what Gwyneth Paltrow has done with Goop and my sister-in-law, Nicole Richie, with her (fashion house) House of Harlow."
