AceShowbiz - Shannon Beador is back to being single! The 54-year-old reality TV star has reportedly split from boyfriend Scot Matteson, just months after going public with their romance. A source says that the breakup arrives after "their romance started to cool off after this fall."
The source, who claims to be close to "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star, continues saying to Radar Online, "Shannon was not ready to be tied down to Scot and she ended the relationship on amicable terms several weeks ago."
Shannon confirmed her relationship with Scot back in July as she was photographed with him while on a business trip to New York City together. The blonde beauty brought her then-beau to the city to promote the new season of her Bravo show.
She later shared on Instagram a photo of her and Scot that showed her beaming as they enjoyed a nice dinner together at the Plaza Hotel. "Lunch with old friends in NYC! Having a ball! @bret.matteson @scotmattesonshe," so she wrote in the caption.
The split arrives amid Shannon's court drama with estranged husband David Beador. Just yesterday, it was reported that the former couple was fighting each other since they wanted their children, 16-year-old Sophie and 14-year-old twins Stella and Adeline, to spend the holiday with them.
The problem allegedly started as David filed a request in court asking "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star to be prohibited from drinking around the girls. He made the decision after watching her having a complete breakdown in last season of the Bravo reality TV show when her cast mates confronted her over her drinking.
Thinking that it would make her daughter not be able to spend Christmas with her, "Shannon wants David to drop his insane request over alcohol and her drinking because she has already dealt with the situation."
"She does not want this to cause her to have to spend Christmas alone. She wants her daughter’s to be with her for the holiday," adds the source of Shannon.
However, the site suggests that Shannon and David managed to reach an agreement for their daughters' Christmas plan. It is said both sides are going to get the girls. The trio are set to spend half of the day with their mother and there other half with David.
Taking to Instagram, Shannon gushed over her girls. "Merry Christmas and Happy New Years from the Beador Gals! I have no words for the joy my girls bring (and Archie) #blessed," she captioned a photo of her and her Beador Gals.
