AceShowbiz - Shannon Beador, a cast member of "The Real Housewives" dating spin-off for Peacock, recently addressed social media comments made by host Joel Kim Booster. In a fan Q&A, Beador expressed confusion over Booster's criticisms, stating that he had initially expressed support for her during filming.
According to Beador, Booster had said, "I'm so happy for you" and had tears in his eyes before the show's wrap party. However, in his deleted Instagram Stories, Booster targeted Beador, calling her a "pathetic drunk" and expressing hope that she would "suffer."
Beador said Booster had also trashed her daughters and expressed sympathy for her ex-boyfriend John Janssen. She stated that she was saddened by Booster's comments, as she had been kind to him during filming.
Booster's Instagram Stories appeared to allude to Beador's involvement in a hit-and-run incident in 2023, for which she was sentenced to probation. The ongoing season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" shows Beador facing the consequences of her actions.
Beador's storyline also includes the fallout of her relationship with Janssen, who is now dating Alexis Bellino, a fellow "RHOC" cast member. Booster's comments focused on Janssen, saying, "Well let's just say I can't imagine what John Janssen went through. Poor guy."
Representatives for Booster and NBCU have been contacted for comment, but no response has been provided at this time.
