The 'Dear Future Husband' hitmaker credits the 'Voice' host for saving her as her parents didn't understand her mental health issues.

AceShowbiz - Meghan Trainor breaks down what really makes her credit Carson Daly for saving her life. Having been vocal about how the "Today" anchor helped her in her struggles against anxiety, the "I'm All About That Bass" singer explained in the Winter 2018 issue of Euphoria. Magazine that he gave a better explanation than doctors.

"I couldn't explain it to my own parents - like, they didn't understand when I was like 'my head's on fire, my back feels like someone has a flame to it' or 'I have nausea and I don't know why' and it was just 'cause my adrenals were all messed up," the 24-year-old explained. "Hearing Carson Daly explain exactly how I felt was better than a doctor; it was like 'Oh, regular human being who is in the industry feels like I do' and I told him 'you don't know how much that saved me.' "

Back in June, Meghan shared to Carson's co-anchor, Hoda Kotb, how his candid chat about his lifelong anxiety issues helped her. "He'll never know how much his video helped me - and my family," she said at the time. "I played that for them and I was like, 'That's how I was feeling.' I just couldn't say it. It's hard to explain."

In another interview with Billboard magazine, the Grammy-winning singer dished on what led her to depression and anxiety. "I got mentally destroyed from my second vocal surgery," she recalled. "I was just sad that it happened again, because they (experts) tell you, 'You won't deal with this ever again', and then it did. I had to crawl out of that anxiety and that dark place, but now I'm so happy."

As for her interview with Euphoria. Magazine, Meghan also talked about her upcoming album, "Treat Myself". Explaining what the record means to her, she dished, "It symbolizes a moment in my life that I had after my second surgery, where I kind of crumbled emotionally and physically. My body just kinda gave up on me and I had to remind myself that I can say 'no' and that I have to focus on myself and treat myself."
