The 'Suicide Squad' star shaves his facial hair as he prepares for the production of the 'Spider-Man' spin-off.

AceShowbiz - "Morbius" production is happening very soon as hinted by Jared Leto's new Twitter post. The actor/singer took to his social media account to tease his transformation for his role in the "Spider-Man" spin-off.
On Thursday, November 15, he posted a video of him shaving his beard and mustache to prepare for the role. He got playful after partially shaving his facial hair, occasionally speaking to himself throughout the process.
The 30 Seconds to Mars frontman wiped his face with a towel after he finished shaving, but unfortunately the video is cut before revealing his new clean-shaven look. "And so it begins...#MORBIUS," he captioned it, adding two scissors emojis.

Reports of Leto's casting in the title role for "Morbius" emerged back in June. Based on Marvel Comics, the character is described as a scientist who becomes a vampire when a blood experiment goes wrong.
Plot details are still scarce and other cast members are not announced, but The Hashtag Show reported last month that the movie would feature a familiar character with a twist as the villain. According to the site, Loxias Crown would villainize the movie.
Loxias Crown does not appear in the comics, but it is said that the character will be drawn upon another comic supervillain Crown, who later went by the name Hunger. Crown is a mutant who comes into conflict with Spider-Man and Morbius.
The movie, however, will reportedly feature a heavily-alternated origin of the character. Instead of a mutant, Loxias Crown would be depicted as Morbius' good friend who suffers from the same rare blood disease as the title character. Both of them then take the same serum that Morbius developed and eventually transforms them into vampire-like creatures. The story will center on Morbius trying to stop Loxias from killing humans while at the same time fighting his own blood lust.
"Safe House" helmer Daniel Espinosa is attached to the project as director, with Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama working on the script. "Venom (2018)" producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are producing "Morbius".
Sony has not set a release date for "Morbius".
