AceShowbiz - Fans are disappointed with FX canceling Donald Glover's planned "Deadpool" animated TV series. And now, it is suggested that Taylor Swift may be the reason why FX decided to cancel the project.

Previously, the "Atlanta" creator and star skewered the network by sharing a faux script of the project in a now-deleted Twitter post, in which he referenced an episode about the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer. While some fans initially thought it was just a joke, Donald's brother and fellow writer Stephen confirmed that there was indeed a Taylor-centric episode in the original script.

"There really was a Taylor Swift episode," Stephen wrote in a now-deleted tweet. "It was HILARIOUS. And it definitely was the last straw lol."

Should it be true, it wouldn't be so surprising. Fans of Donald must have known that the Emmy-winning actor has always been vocal about social issue. He once created a Justin Bieber-inspired episode on "Atlanta".

Stephen also addressed speculations that the project was canceled because of racism. In a separate tweet, he said, "Our show wasn't too black. It wasn't really that black at all. But we definitely wanted to give 'Rick and Morty' a run for their money and I think we would have. Proud of the gang."

In the spoof script he previously shared, Donald mused about whether the cancellation had something to do with a racism. "All the writers were black,” Deadpool said in the script. "And the references were pretty black too. I heard they went over the lunch budget ordering Jamaican food at least once a week . . . maybe we were alienating our white audience?"

FX, however, revealed that "creative differences" was the thing which led to the cancellation. "Due to creative differences, FX, Donald Glover, Stephen Glover, and Marvel Television have agreed to part ways on Marvel's 'Deadpool' animated series. FX will no longer be involved with the project."
